SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2_#9

January 9, 2004

The Lord has given me precious promises. His promises are not turned aside by the actions of men. He promised, and he will perform. He has not promised me revival and blessings and changed his mind. His promises and blessings are not diminished by the actions of men. He is my reward; therefore, I do not concern myself with the actions of those who reject me. They do not determine the magnitude of his rewards and blessings. I will not worry about the decisions of those who choose not to follow me. They are the losers, not me. God allows, and he disallows; therefore, I accept what he disallows as well as the things that he allows. He has ordered my steps. I know that they are the right steps. He is building the foundation of a mighty church. He cannot build upon compromise or error. He will not allow the spirit of error and the spirit of compromise to be placed in his foundation. He is separating the spirit of error from me; therefore, I will not be alarmed by those who turn from me. No one having the spirit of error will feel comfortable around me; consequently, I know that the reason for some of the rejection is because of the spirit of truth that is in me.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
