SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

OF FAITH

Series 3.3.7 - #66

Words of Light Upon the Face of Confusion, Error, and Disharmony

March 7, 2005

I am not alone in this pasture of life, but I am dwelling with brethren and sisters of a common faith. I purpose to dwell with them in unity and harmony. I am determined not to be drawn away from the spirit of unity and peace, for God's spirit will not strive with the disharmony of the hour. Those who do not desire unity and peace shall look upon the hinder parts of the church as it ascends out of this world. The hinder parts of the church shall be seen by the sowers of discord and unruly believers, for only the pure in heart shall be caught away. I am not beguiled by the spirit of discord, which runs through the church. I cannot run with the legs of the sowers of evil. Their legs are powered by another spirit and not the spirit of truth.

The Lord has freed me from bondage; therefore, I will not return to the wallow and the vomit of my past life. I press toward the mark before me. I can hit the mark of righteousness through faith, which is in him. He has called me to overcome these things before me. I will not look into the mouth of the devouring lions of trouble, but I will look to the hills of salvation. My help has come skipping on the mountains of life; therefore, I will look not into the pit of trouble. Its belly will never be satisfied. I will not be a part of its diet, but I choose to let it continue to hunger for my life.

Jesus has designed me to be a part of his purpose and his plan. I will not lean to the understanding of my own mind. My mind is a limited source of limited knowledge, but the mind of Christ is the source of unlimited knowledge and ability. I will come and see the great things which are being shown unto the Church in this hour. He has brought me to the threshold of great victories. The blinding light of God's glory has already caused my enemies to retreat. I do not look at the dust of their heels, but I purpose to look at this place of rest in God's presence where joy is flowing as a river. The bed of this river is not seen, for its bed is from the heavens. The bed of the river of life has his rock of revelation as its bottom. Now I look no longer at the dust from the heels of damnation. His finger and his authority have judged already, and damnation shall be thrown into the lake of fire.

The spirit of error has gone around my life for the last few weeks. I have gone in circles as I have watched the dust from its feet. I shall be dizzy with confusion and trampled by the pressure of its toronadic expression if I continue to look upon the display of this spirit. I look away from this performance in the dark and look at the finished work of Calvary. When I have looked away again to his finished work, then shall I behold the benefits of redemption and the activity of his word working on my behalf.

I have not believed in vain. Jesus says, "Nay. You have not believed in vain, but you have believed unto my righteousness and unto my salvation." The door of the glorious victory of his cross and his blood is being expressed this moment. I rise up from the dust of error's heels, and I shout for the glorious triumph of faith, for his faithfulness has overwhelmed the dust of error and blown it away with the breath of life. He does breathe upon me and grants me the true liberty of the gospel and of salvation. I have bought the truth, and I will not sell it.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
