SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

Words of Light Upon the Face of Pressure

March 9, 2005

I wonder about the realness of the voice that speaks within me. I know that Christ lives within me. He is the word of God within my heart and mind. The unregenerate do not know the voice of the Lord, for they are not his, but his sheep hear his voice and know it. I am not confused like the children of the darkness, who know not God, but I am confident that he is speaking and comforting his people by his spirit. The Lord did not bring me to the table of redemption to feed me the diet of the world, neither did he bring me to this table to allow me to be made fat on his goodness. He has brought me here to prepare me for ministry. I must not be fat on his goodness, but I must be hungry everyday for righteousness. I MUST hunger and thirst after righteousness. I MUST. I MUST. When I cease to hunger and thirst after righteousness, then I will not be filled with holiness and light, but I will be filled with the things of the world and of self.

God has brought a revival of righteousness. He will cause the people to hunger and thirst after this righteousness, which is God's righteousness and not the filthy rags that men boast about. I prepare for the restoration of his righteousness in the understanding of the people. Many are void and empty of the understanding of real righteousness. I will go and declare the righteousness of God. He has redeemed the people, yet many are captives to the systems of this world. When he saved them, he brought them out of bondage and ushered them into his kingdom where living waters reside. Many are simply floating on the rivers of life and have never been plunged into the depths where the riches of Christ reside. They shall never experience the true riches until they have discovered the beauty of his righteousness. Many sit and depend on their rags of righteousness, which are filthy in his sight. God will bring to them a new understanding that shall cause them to place total trust in him. He is Jehovah-Tsidkenu, the Lord, our righteousness. Righteousness has set me in the way of his own steps and ordered my steps after his own steps.

I will not be not disturbed by these pressures all about me, for there is no journey to the depths of the rivers of life without the pressures that I feel. I will become acquainted with these pressures and learn how to use them, for they are the atmosphere of those who are called to the deep. The shallow shall not know of these pressures and remain alive. Only the deep calls to the deep. God has called me to be plunged into the depth of his rivers of life, and there I will find the exceeding, great riches of Christ. I will go and follow him, for there are pleasures under these pressures. My mind will say that I will be crushed. This atmosphere is as natural to me as the atmosphere of air. I realize that great pressure comes with the descent to humility, honor, life, and true riches. God speaks plainly to me. I have been concerned about the pressures all about me. I will relax. This is the atmosphere around those who are diving for the riches of Christ. I am protected better than any diver. My robe of righteousness and my God gives me all the protection that I need. He is greater than all of the pressures on the outside; therefore, there is no imbalance of force in this descent. I will go and follow him. He will make me a fisher of men. The dead have already descended to these lower parts, but the Lord shall raise them from the deadness of their sins and continue his journey to the heavenlies.

God has chosen me. Many are called, but few are chosen. I will go and say what the redeemed should say. I have a testimony. I will speak the same things that he speaks. I cannot speak the same things that he speaks if I do not know the word of God. I cannot speak the same things that God speaks if I do not know the voice of God. I cannot begin to speak the same things that God speaks if I do not have confidence in the restoration and the reconciliation of righteousness. God has restored me, and now the power of regeneration does show forth the greatness of its own power. Righteousness will exalt me. I can be angry and sin not, for the subtlety of reproach does abide in the atmospheric pressures all around me.

I will trust in Jesus with all my heart and not lean to my own understanding. He is the Lord, who knows all things. I abide in him, and I allow his words to abide in me, now God will do that which I have asked. He has declared unto me that his words abide in me and I in him; therefore, I can ask what I will, and it shall be done unto me. I do not doubt, but I believe that he who asks also receives. He who knocks then it shall be opened unto him. He who seeks is he who also shall find. I will go and let God lead me in the search for true riches, the riches of Christ Jesus. I will go and follow him. I purpose not to draw back because of these pressures, for God will have no pleasure in those who draw back. I will keep my confidence in this time of great pressure, and God will pay me a reward for my confidence. I believe.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
