SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

Words of Light Upon the Face of Criticism

March 18, 2005

Jesus is my source. He is the beginning. My mind will not alter the difference that he is in my life, for he has designed me to be an overcomer. All these things that have confronted me shall not be a permanent wall for me, but I shall leap over this wall with the power of the resurrection. The enemy has lied and said that he will defeat me, but God is the final authority in all things that pertain unto me. I determine not to be filled with dismay because of my feelings in my flesh. These feelings cannot hinder what the Lord is in me. Jesus is my rock to lean on. He is my stone that slams against the head of my enemies. He is my wheel in the middle of a wheel, my bright and morning star, my lily in this valley, my rose in my Sharon. Jesus is the light in the dark places. HE IS. He has never ceased to be, neither will he. He is the Eternal God, the light of the ages and the light of eternity. I will not be filled with despair, for he has already overcome the world and all these things.

The night is coming and then no one will be able to work. I will work while I have the day, and the Day Star shall be my light for proper vision. When night comes, there will be no light for my work. The Lord has said unto me, "Walk while you have the light or darkness will come upon you." I will not wait for the light to go out, but I make my calling and election sure. I will work out my own salvation with fear and with trembling.

God made today for his own purpose. He will do a wonder in my midst. I will not be surprised by what he will do, but I alert myself to the seriousness of the hour, and I am alerted unto the voice of divinity. Jesus is speaking in this hour, and now I will know and also the doubters and unbelievers shall know. I am not cast down in confidence because of the gainsayers and the despisers, but I am encouraged in the Lord, for he has said that his word shall not return unto him empty or void. I have eaten from the bowl of prophecy. I did hunger, and I did thirst. Now the Lord will fill me with righteousness and peace. The power of his word shall abound in me, and the truth of prophecy shall come forth unto me this day. I will not be disillusioned by the wave of criticism that comes from the gainsayer's son. I purpose not to be disillusioned any longer by the wave of the critics. Jesus is the Lord, and he knows all things. He does show forth the love of truth, and the love of God shall abound toward me in this time of tribulation. I determine not to be heady, neither high minded but full of faith and confidence, always abounding toward his love with thanksgiving.

I will give no place to the devil. He is a liar, and there is no truth in him. I come up higher in fasting and prayer. Jesus will not condemn me if I falter or fail, but I know that there are dimensions awaiting me by faith. God touches me with newness and freshness. He calls forth blessings from his storehouse and places them in my hands. I am alert, for Jesus will do a wonder in my midst. I behold the wonder that he will do.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
